Tweeds

This is just a basic hat, so it was super easy to make. If you knit with two colors and alternate every stitch you get a really cool tweed pattern, so it looks like you did something really intense!

Snowy

It snowed a little bit last night which puts me in the mood for a good ol' March blizzard... Since that probably won't happen, I'll just have to content myself with a snowman made of yarn instead of snow.

Fortunately for your little one, this snowman won't melt!

Hi! My name is Melissa and Knits by Meliss is the new home for all of my knit creations.

I'll be posting pictures of my newest hats and other creative endeavors here for your viewing pleasure.

I also plan to occasionally post patterns for some of the hats I've created, so you can make a pint-sized piece of cuteness for your little one. (Plan being the key word however, as I tend to forget to document my patterns and often have to start from scratch each time I knit.) Maybe this will be the motivation I need to write things down!
